  1. Positive Self-Talk- what you mentally tell yourself is like a magnet. So, if you tell yourself about negative thoughts, then you’ll come to attract negative things. Simply think of this as the inner voice in your mind and analyze how you interact and perform with the world around you. Keep in mind, your self-esteem will suffer if your mind centers on negative thoughts. So, you need to be alert. If you are having these patterns of negative self-talk, break it and work on changing them. Start doing this when you wake up.
  2. Feed yourself some humor- It could be a little tough to stay optimistic when there is a lack of humor in your life. Though you are facing challenges, it is always ideal to be open to some fun and laughter. If you want to brighten your outlook and lessen your stress, recognizing some humor can absolutely help. Giving yourself some time watching funny shows or reading some jokes could actually help you with positive thinking.
  3. Foster Optimism- positive thinking is just like strengthening your muscle. If you use it more, it will become stronger. The way you explain situations is linked to your personality, whether you are an optimist or a pessimist. Optimists explain things positively and pessimists focus on negative events. So, if you take a moment and analyze the event, making sure that you give yourself some credit for the good things and not blaming yourself for things that you cannot control, you’ll become a more optimistic person.
